Being a Writer

Okay, so I'm not an official author but I love writing and reading and I'm trying to write books.

So anyways, as a writer, anything can be a story.

Like, I was just walking the dog when he stopped and sat down in the most heroic pose ever and I'm like, OMG this is such a good story, and like, the only thing I actually thought of for that story is that there is a boy called Josh with his loyal companion, a big fluffy white dog called Shepherd. They're best friends and sometimes Josh hitches a ride on Shepherd. Yes he's that big, well, the one in the story is, not our actual dog, he's not that big.

I think our family is a writing family, like, Grandpa wrote a book, my two uncles wrote books, my mummy wrote a book and is trying story books. But honestly? The only one who wrote stories were one of my uncles, Victory Low, and my mummy, but she never published them because she didn't finish writing them.

I plan on publishing one of my stories too, but before doing that my mummy has to check that the grammar is correct, which is the hard part.

Mummy was an English teacher before and I just a '6th grade kid who got fed up with the other books of kids my age that have horrible lives and/or are very dumb and started my own series' and what makes it harder is that my protagonist isn't very good at her English (on-purpose) and I have spelling issues.

I even tried writing 'character' and wrote 'charecter' and got 'Sorry, this is not the correct spelling, but our AI grammar corrector doesn't know what word you're writing' and I'm like, What?? It's a one letter difference!

My unfinished stories:

  1. R Heroes (a literal series)
  2. @ Girl’s Future Di@ry (series)
  3. D.O.V.E Agency
  4. The Father's Children
  5. Periodic People
  6. The Favoured's Expedition

Finished:

  1. @ Girl’s Future Di@ry No. 1

Published:

       0. None

New ideas:

  1. JezAkari to Jazzminimal
  2. The 12 A-possums
