Hannah

Long black fading to copper hair swayed in the breeze as a 9 year old girl sat on a grassy hill overlooking a small town below. She sighed as she remembered when she was 6 years old...

It was midnight dark and quiet until...

"EEEeeeEEeeEEE!!!"

Lights flashed on, doors burst open, someone decided it was a good idea to call the emergency service, and Hannah's parents rushed into her room and the lights flickered on as they watched their daughter screaming and tucking herself away in a corner as she pointed to the other side of the room.

"MOMMYYYY!!! DADDYYY!!!! EEEEE!!!!!"

Hannah's parents looked to where she was pointing, but they couldn't see what she was looking at.

Police sirens and an ambulance drove past,  preparing for someone badly injured by the vague response of 'a little girl screaming', but they weren’t prepared for a child telling stories of what seemed to be a ghostly figure of which wasn't there.

They decided to do some careful examining on her in the hospital, and when she calmed down, they decided to let her stay for the night, and see what happens. She was completely fine, but after dinner, she started whining of a voice saying something. Everyone kept quiet but she could still hear it. When one of the nurses asked her what she heard, Hannah replied with "A man's saying, 'Psalms 91, 2'."

The doctors were trying to figure put why that was happening, her parents were praying for Hannah, then someone decided that it was a good idea to give her a Word, and as she read the verse out loud, she finally relaxed and snuggled under her blanket.

No one mentioned what happened that time anymore, and it never happened again. But as Hannah sat on the hill, she thought out this morning.

In her dreams, she heard that same voice saying something else this time.

"Matthew 4:19,  Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

War

I wouldn't really write something like this, but I just had to.

One part of me says, "No war. If people want to know what other countries are doing, the rulers should just come together and be a team. Boom! No war, no disagreements or conquering." While the other part remembers what my Mummy said. "Jesus is the Prince of Peace, but God is the God of War." The Israelites started wars because that was their Promised Land from God. Evil cannot agree or team up with God. In Revelations the army of the heavens battled with the fallen angels. War might not be the best, but it might be what’s meant to happen.

Mis-sung Lyrics

Long trip in the car, just woke up from a nap, listening to the 2 younger sisters singing.

"I'm gonna follow, are you gonna follow? I'm gonna follow, are you gonna follow? I'm gonna follow, I'm gonna follow!"

They sing 'I have decided, to follow Jesus' and they sing the part from Listener Kids. Then they return to the chorus, but they sing it with the wrong lyrics.

"I'm gonna follow, follow Jesus."

I really felt like correcting the song for them, but I listened. Then I think.

In 'I have decided, to follow Jesus.' You decide to do it, but does that mean you did it? 'I'm gonna follow, follow Jesus.' In that chorus, you are actually going to do what you decided.

2 kids, 2 children singing songs in the back incorrectly and they taught you something.

Amen.

A Miracle

January 2nd 2025

I experienced a miracle today. I wanted to make a Lego animation with my new app, but some of the brown guy's body parts went missing. My sister's were trying to help, I was searching under, behind, next to, but I couldn’t find the parts.

Then after a while I went back to the carpet where the rest of the pieces were. And there! A hand. I was thinking Whaaa? I passed by hereso many times and I didn't see this? Ok, next I wanna see a torso, no the other hand. So I went to the other room.

I came back, and at that same spot, another hand! I was so amazed. Then I thought next, torso. And I didn't even leave the room yet, only just turned around, and then I found behind a ribbon, the torso connected with the pants!

That, to me, was a miracle, because I would be in BIG trouble if we already lost a part of the Lego set. Thank you God.
